Terms of Service

Effective: March 2026

1. Service Description

Signal is a product management copilot that ingests customer feedback from connected services (Slack, GitHub, Jira), performs AI-powered analysis (sentiment scoring, pattern detection, ticket correlation, epic generation), and helps product teams make data-driven decisions.

2. Account Responsibilities

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Maintain one workspace per user account
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Signal for any unlawful purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal API usage
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code or content

4. Intellectual Property

Our platform: Signal, including its design, features, code, and AI models, is our intellectual property. Your use of Signal does not grant you ownership of any platform IP.

Your data: You retain full ownership of your data, including feedback signals, workspace configurations, and exported content. We claim no ownership over your content.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Signal connects to third-party services (Slack, GitHub, Jira, Linear) through Nango, a SOC 2 compliant integration platform. We do not store your raw OAuth tokens. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Subscription and Billing

Signal offers Free, Pro, and Team subscription tiers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Signal provides AI-generated insights as suggestions only. Product decisions remain your responsibility. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account through the settings page. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Signal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
